Bar Code Properties -  Name and Location Tab

The Name and Location tab lets you name the bar code field and set its position and visibility.

All of the fields on this window are optional, but we recommend that you assign a field name. Assigning a field name makes it easier to identify the field when merging it with a database or linking it to other fields.
