Open Template

The Open Template command opens an existing template A document saved with the extension .etd. A template file must be saved with a different name/version number each time it is edited. This allows you to track the documents' history. file.

NOTE:If you edit an existing template file, it must be saved as a new template See Using Design with enLabel IPM for more detailed information about templates.

To open an existing template file:

1. 1. 1. 1. Choose File > Open Template.

         2. Navigate to the directory that contains the template file to open.

            NOTE: The default is the installation directory.

         3. Double click on the template file.

         4. Click Open.
            If the template has not previously been associated with a Workflow service, the Login to enLabel Workflow screen appears. Logging in to enLabel Workflow allows you to view and access database information associated with the template in enLabel Workflow. Follow login instructions.

NOTE: Since all edited templates must be saved as a new version, when using the Open Template option, save the revised file as a template by using File > Save as Template.
