Unit of measure

Use the drop-down list to select centimeters, decimal inches, inches, millimeters, picas, points, or twips. The selected unit of measure is used throughout the software.

Snap to guide within

Enter how close the object you are moving must be to a grid point or guide line before it is snapped to that point or line.

To set guide preferences:

• 1. 1. 1. Choose Options > Preferences, and then select the Rulers Guides tab.

        2. Set the appropriate preferences.
