tool lets you rotate anWhen an object is rotated, it pivots on the anchor point selected in the properties window.
To rotate an object more precisely, you can rotate by degrees using the properties window.
NOTE: The tool can't turn rich text objects. To rotate a rich text field, use the rotation feature in the Appearance tab of Rich Text Properties.
To change the pivot point:
Double click on the object you would like to rotate. The properties window appears.
For a text field, open the Font tab and select the appropriate Alignment radio box.
For a bar code field, open the Dimensions tab and select the appropriate Anchor Point radio box.
For a picture field, open the Dimensions tab and select the Anchor Point from the drop-down menu.
NOTE: You can't change a shape's pivot point from its center.
To rotate an object by dragging:
Select the object you would like to rotate.
Choose .
Move the cursor over one of the grips that appear in the corners of the object until the rotation pointer appears .
Press and hold the left mouse button.
Drag the object in the appropriate direction and release the mouse button when rotation is complete.
To rotate an object precisely:
Double click on the object you would like to rotate. The properties window appears.
For a text field, open the Font tab and enter the degrees of rotation in the Rotation box.
For a rich text field, open the Appearance tab and select from the Rotation drop-down list.
NOTE: You can only rotate a rich text object 90 degrees, 180 degrees or 270 degrees.
For a bar code field, open the Shape tab and enter the degrees of rotation in the Angle box.
For a shape field, open the Style tab and enter the degrees of rotation in the Rotation box.
For a picture field, open the Dimensions tab and enter the degrees of rotation in the Rotation box.
