Predefined Labels

The Predefined Labels tab gives you access to over 1,700 label layouts from some of the most popular label manufacturers. All available label brands are listed in the Brand box, and all the layout names are listed in the Name box.

You can also access user-defined layouts, or layouts you have created and saved, under the Predefined Labels tab. Highlight *User Defined Labels in the Brand box, and the layout name in the Name box.

To open the predefined labels tab:

• • • 1. Choose File > Label Properties or right click on a label and select Label Layout. The Label Properties window appears.

      2. Click on the Predefined Labels tab.

         Field	Description
         Brand	Highlight the label manufacturer and type of label.
         Name	Highlight the name of the label layout.
         Load	Click to load the highlighted label format without exiting the window.
         Delete	Click to delete the highlighted *User Defined Label. Select the label in the Name box and press the Delete button. The Delete button cannot be used to delete any of the label formats designed by label manufacturers.

To select a predefined label layout:

• • • • 1. Scroll through the Brand box to select the brand and label type.

        2. Scroll through the Name box to select the layout name. The Preview window displays the selected label layout.

        3. Click OK.
