Selection Filter

Check objects to make them selectable with the pointer tool.

NOTE: You may decide to uncheck certain objects listed in the Selection Filter to ensure you don't accidentally move them.

Toggle

Check to reverse pointer tool selections.

Select All

Check to make the pointer tool capable of selecting all object types.

Deselect All

Check to make the pointer tool incapable of selecting any object types.

Display selected objects only

Check to hide any objects that the pointer tool can't select.

Select objects intersecting selection box

Check this box if you'd like the objects intersected by a selection box to be selected.

Select lines within

Specify the maximum distance that the pointer tool can be from a line to select it.

NOTE: Only applicable for line selection.

Select guides before objects

Check this option to give guides a higher priority when a guide overlaps an object.
