MSI/Plessey Options

A MSI/Plessey bar code is a variable-length, numeric-only bar code with a recommended length between three and 15 digits. It requires a single check digit, and an optional check digit may also be used. When two check digits are used, the first check digit can be either a Modulo 10 or 11.

Types	Description
Check Digit(s)	Select a check digit: MOD 10 Only, MOD 10 MOD 10, MOD 11 MOD 10, or ISBN, MSI-ISBN. note: To print the ISBN subset, select ISBN, MSI-ISBN and enter the ISBN number in the Current Value box on the Data tab. The MSI/Plessey ISBN is fixed-length and numeric only.
Print Check Digit In Human Readable Text	Check if you would like to print the check digit in human readable text. NOTE: When using the ISBN check digits, ”r;X” is a valid check digit character.
