Guide Type

The Guide Type command sets guides to Single or Stepping. This setting controls guides that are dragged from the ruler.

• • • • If you choose Single, you move one guide at a time.

      • If you choose Stepping, you can move more than one guide at a time. Once you drag the guide the Stepping Guide window appears. You are asked for the number of guides you would like placed as well as the distance you would like between the guides.

To set the guide type:

Choose Options > Single or Options > Stepping, depending on what type of guide you would like.
