Group

(CTRL+G)

The Group command treats selected objects as one object.

Group individual selected objects and then manipulate them as if they were a single object. For example, group all of the objects in a complex drawing to ensure that objects are not left behind nor do not shift position when moved.

You can Ungroup objects at any time.

NOTE: "Nest" groups by forming groups and them grouping them to one another. The original groups remains intact when nested groups are ungrouped.

To group two or more selected objects:

        1. Hold the Shift key while clicking on the field objects to group.

        2. Choose Edit > Group or type CTRL+G.
