Codabar Bar Code

The Codabar bar code is also known as NW-7.

Codabar is a variable length code that has a space called an inter-character gap between each character. Each of the bar code's characters comprises four bars and three intervening spaces.

Codabar requires a start character (A, B, C, or D) and a stop character (A,B,C, or D) for successful reading. The specific start and stop character may vary, depending on the application.
