The Stripping tab lets you remove characters and spaces from the bar code object.
This is normally used to remove unnecessary spaces in data that's been merged from a database. It can also be used to strip characters in linked objects.

Strip Matching Characters |
Check Strip Leading, Strip Trailing, or both, and enter the character/characters you'd like removed from the beginning and/or end of the bar code object. NOTE: By default, spaces are stripped. |
Strip Specific Number Of Characters |
Check this box and enter the number of characters you'd like removed from the beginning and/or end of the bar code object. |
Strip Matching Characters First |
Check if you'd like to strip the matching characters specified before stripping the number of characters specified. NOTE: If this is not checked, the number of characters specified are stripped first. |
