Aztec Options

Aztec bar code symbologies are two-dimensional with a relatively high accuracy.

An Aztec bar code can hold up to 3832 digits, 3067 characters, or 1914 bytes. Its size, as well as its degree of error correction, can be fixed at label design time or set to change automatically in response to the data's length.

Aztec encodes the entire ASCII character set.

Description

Module Size

Enter a module size between 15 and 60. This will control the size of the bar code.

Aztec Menu Symbol

Check if you would like to enable the Aztec Menu Symbol. The symbol is a specially designed bar code symbol that programs an appropriately configured optical imaging device.

ECC Value

In the first drop-down menu select an error checking and correction (ECC) value: 0-99, 101-104, or 201-232. In the second drop-down menu enter the specific ECC value.

Rotation

Select a rotation angle: None, 90 Degrees, 180 Degrees, or 270 Degrees.
