The
command adds a non-printable layer to the label.Label Annotation Mode lets you place all objects that will not print on a single layer at the bottom of all other layers. Recreate preprinted information or diecut shapes in annotation mode to make field layout easier.
For example, if you use an Audio Cassette Label Stock, there might be a rectangle in the center of the label. Recreate this rectangle in Annotation mode so it is easy to add fields without placing any information in this area.
When turning on Annotation Mode, all other information is hidden. Once back in normal view both data and annotations are visible.
NOTE: Annotation fields can ONLY be edited in Annotation mode.
